as we aged, it's never the actual birth-day that matters
it was the process of sourcing for the most practical gift to chilling out @ a unique place
as we grow out of our youth shell, we re-visit what we used to share as young peeps
:)

my birthday, the absolute picnic, the blue sky, white white cotton clouds, enormous poodle, stranded balloons, diaper cutie boy, weird couple, music, bird feathers and shits.
all the wonderful wonderful happenings, thank you my closest sweetest pals for making this day an absolute heartfelt day for me!
fleeting moments i'm not going to to be edible. thank you once again for putting in so much effort!
Love,
Jas

Reaching OUT. Reaching UP
i celeb the nation's birthday on a different forefront
i paid a price to scare my wits away in a cinema
but it came along with contagious laughter shared with many other Singaporeans
:)
ting & i gave yg a shock-of-his-life,
right after he ends his soccer game, he received an sms from me...
without his consent or acknowledgment,
we went ahead to book him a tix for the movie
he ain't aware of what's the show about nor did he show any prior interest
still, we dragged him along
- niak hiak niak -
i've always been a fan of jack neo's productions,
as every movie of his speaks of the real-on-goings of the environment i grew up in
i really teared for this show, but they were all tears of laughter

in support of my dearest cousin's event,
right after the movie, i dragged them both to OC to view NDP Live
i was really keen to head to marina for the fireworks display, but reckon we might not be in time
with that aside, it was a MUST for me to participate in the Nation's Pledge Moment
and WE DID IT together @ OC!
initially it was an embarrassing moment but thereafter we really embrace the experience
it was really fun singing out loud, waving and clapping our hands together with the melodies
nothing beats this unique way of celebrating National Day!

all thanks to yg's laziest of not bringing his dslr,
i do not hv any ndp 09 memories to keep digitally...
nonetheless, it was a great night well-spent!
Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!
!!! ever-proud of how a small island have developed into what it is today !!!

!!! sErviCe VS pRofiTs !!!
i re-watched one of the many dramas that's close to my heart
- HOTEL BABYLON -
i've always been a firm believer of:
戏如人生,人生如戏
thus, many of my service preachings comes from the scenarios within
this show was a live-walking-textbook to me

after leaving the hospitality industry and zooming into the corporate world, i've taken a new perspective towards the below scene:
GM: General Mgr
PHM: Potential candidate for Hotel Mgr
GM: the role of a mgr is to look after the guests?
PHM: tat's right...
GM: no tat's wrong...
GM: i've already employed hundreds of people to look after that: waiters porters receptionists...
GM: in mgt, ur no.1 responsibility is to maximise profits and protect the interest of the hotel
GM: this is a business...
GM: if u don't understand that, maybe u r not the right person for the job!
SPOT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to my surprise, an idol's biography have also revealed something:
"I never made a mistake of putting profits ahead of people, and I believe part of Four Seasons' worldwide acclaim is built primarily on the strong relationships i've built over the years with owners, partners and board members who shared my standards, and with the thousand of employees, managers, and executives who helped make the company such a success." ~ Isadore Sharp
I still strongly believed that Service is in priority when I encounter any business dealings with my suppliers or clients. However, no matter how great one's service can be, if the profit margin is being compromised, it just doesn't make any business sense. On the other hand, the service-passionate me alway thinks that an excellent service provider is worth the investments for smoother operations :)
arghz............................torn in between.
this is TOTALLY past-职业病!!!!

the time you enjoy wasting, is not a wasted time :)
it was ngia's last day stint @ her intern co
thus, we decided to let loose and pre-booked ourselves with Timbre a week in advance
here's a really FUGLY expression of them both
they unintentionally emit the same kind of facial movements while brain-storming dinner plans
~ haaaaaaaaa ~

a toast to F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P
something just as simple as it can be
we swear @ at each other @ anytime
we shoot directly on comments without beating ard the bush
we poured those sorrows knowing we have each others' support
:)

the genuine smiles speaks volumes
:)
