a well-spent xmas eve with a terrible & husky voice of mine
my buttocks are a bunch of hilarious peeps
we do nonsensical things to keep each other entertained
family members are just pple whom you cant choose in life
and i know i dont have to choose, coz they have been just there

some are happy, some are sad
all these resulted in a oh-so-loving gift exchange

i gave mine to my godma coz i know a small gift will put a smile on her face

since the very day i had my 21st big bash celeb
thereafter, i have been telling myself for the very next few years,
i am so going to have simple dinner affairs
because i strongly believe in the word, reunion
for we have all been too busy with our own careers
it's only during one's bday that we get to come together for a good catch-up

i believe this day is the day
we always knew the bond is never being neglected
sadly jess & vinz cant make it
am sure they know they are dearly missed

despite leaving the industry for good
never shall the bridge nor the bond ever be burnt
it's the time of the year once again
1) a cozy meal session
2) the jealousy of the gift x-change
3) rowdy game session
sadly, this year we had a few missing gems
but, we managed to create our own kind of special atmosphere
- niak hiak niak -
thanks to the major psyching, i went home with a crap gift again this year
but many other gifts made up for the sadness, hahaha
- love love love -
just when i am having a really bad sore throat for a week
it had gotten worst after a night of screams, shouts, excitement
this year we taboo our night away till past midnite
it was sooooo fun that i am sooo hooked onto it

after xxx days/weeks/mths
finally the hamz managed to meet up for a simple night out
seriously, being with the young really helps in rejuvenating my old soul once again
her analogies of life is by far the most absurd reasoning i've come across
i wonder am i laughing at her or was it because i am amused by her
despite all, it's weird hw we managed to maintain this hilarious friendship
i admire her honesty & perseverance
she's one who gives someone the utmost respect and idolizes weird pple
- hahahahahahaha -

she really brought me back to those days when we were all so young
the reason behind it all.....
she loves to say this phrase to pple whom disappoint her (till today) :
"I wan to break friendship with you"

seriously, tell me that aint childish

but tat's the companionship i need at this moment

at the bottom of everyone's heart
we all know that it's possible
the secret behind it : an effort from each individual
it was a mini success for the gathering
everyone turned-up as promised
thanks to facebook for allowing us to reach-out to those we hv lost contact with
we hope to "hunt" dwn the rest of the peeps in time to come for the next meet-up

it has been helluva long
perhaps in the time span of a decade and more
oh shucks, we are indeed OLD
- damnz -
it all takes for Mrs Lee to gave that comment
only then we realise we are no longer the teenagers in her eyes
- hahaha -

it was such a boozy nite that we have lost track of time
only when the police came-by for a visit then we realised, OH NO!
that's the cons of having ministers and foreign ambassadors as your direct/indirect neighbours
police patrol every night

both of them doubt that am the owner's daughter
so what am in tee n berms n am short like a teen, cant meh ..... dun look like meh .....
must wear diamonds then can be look like the owner's daughter meh .....

Nothing to Fear
as i'm as good as the best
as strong as the mightiest too

In just the measure i give
there's nothing too good for me to possess
there's no heights where i cannot go
the power is more than belief or guess

setting foot on the highest hill
there's nothing i cannot do

waking up to the shivers resulted from the storm from the night
i was all geared up with my running kit and gym bag
just when everyone's sound asleep in bed
i made my way to the marina area to meet my dearest ngia
we are both gamed up for the run which we were in fear of just days ago
it was our virgin 10km run and the crowd made me feel like it's the run of the century, sort of
close to 50,000 runners covered the streets where vehicles all slowed down to take a glance
seeing tonnes of running enthusiasts by our side, we felt really motivated
just at the starting line, getting all ready, i felt like i was in ZOUK
the irony is, i hate places like zouk, but i enjoyed the moments today
the adrenaline rush came from the pumping hype music that kept me awake
we were screaming, clapping, chtting while queuing at the start line

the race kicked off and at the 1km mark, i told ngia about it and she commented:
为何要这样 remind 我们
hahaha, i was pissed as well coz i thought we had ran quite a distance

just when i was about to "punk chek", i thot i should persevere more coz it's coming to an end
guess what, it reads 5km
@#$% @#$%
as much as i tried nt to be demoralize, i seriously am
- hahaha -
despite all, we MADE it, we FINISHED it
- hoooooooooraaaaaaaaaay -
guess what ngia said:
let's try for half marathon next year

but come to think of it, y not
it's possible as nike human race, great eastern and many more are in line for us nxt yr

serioulsy, i know myself well enough
this race is impossible without one person
this race is impossible if she wasnt there to spur me on
this race is impossible if she did nt slow dwn her personal pace to follow mine
this person is none other than my dearest ngia
it's really bcoz of you that i managed to go further than what i am capable of
it's really bcoz of you that i managed to attain a goal that i set upon

the selfless you gave me hope

~ 困难的任务 ~

tomorrow's THE D-DAY
it was just 3mths back that ngia and i were enthusiastically signing up for this run
with an eye's blink, it's commencing 12hours from now
- shitz -
we are both in doom shit as we haven been running for a mth
and just a day before the run, ngia's hving a hangover and me hving stomach upset
??? tell me how excited can we be ???
a few days back, we headed to expo to collect our runner's kit
not only were we caught in the heavily pouring rain, we were in awe with the length of the queue

despite all
i hope we are ready
aim : end the race even if it means being last
hahahaha, 真没出息, hahahaha
