~ gOne jUsT LiKe tAt ~

just when the country gets all hype abt being known as THE COUNTRY
Singapore,being the 1st country to host the 1st night race in the history of f1
everything ended in just a short time span of 3days
frankly speaking,in days or weeks to come
??? who would really still remember this day ???
singaporeans beings as kaypo and our eagerness to join in any crowds
whenever a mega news is being flashed in the papers
we will definitely be conversing in stories with relations to those news
that's when daily life becomes repetitive and days just past by us

a mini glance of the wonderful experiences i had @ The Boardwalk Club
the free flow of wine & champagne doesn't satisfy me
its was the buffet,cranberry juice & live band that did
most importantly,the place's air conditioned
- lol lol lol -

dearie ditched her pit grandstand suite to join me for a great meal
but,she ditched me when the race was about to begin
wun blame her of coz,coz she had fantastic views frm her side
* envy *
despite tat,we accompanied each other thru smses throughout the race
* winks winks,roger frm the "ang moh" *

when the whole race came to a closure
the spectators were allowed to walk on the circuit itself
it was great opportunity to have a close glance of the pit areas
- awfully COOL -
how i wish i had the chance to change the tyres for those drivers
- wahahahaha -

this is a quick motion glance of all the racers & their vroom vroom
every racer gets to warm-up the engines & tyres of their vroom vroom
zooming their way on the 5km plus circuit for 1 round prior to the official start of the race

am all so excited abt being part of the nation's pride
till today,it still amazes me
how such a puny island we are
bt how big our achievements can be

for 3 full days
i will b @ the F1 circuit
joining the crowd
feeling the hype
- oh my,the heart beat will never stop -

watching F1 brings fond memories of my days back in Uni
the project we dabbled on
the project we dug our heads on
the project we aced it with distinction on
i can never be more proud of such an outcome and such a great team
* never look dwn on chinese,never look dwn on petite *
zank q to those babes who made it happen
a very nice ending to our uni journey
* toast toast *

just as i was getting all so excited abt the upcoming race
i receive an email titled : terrible F1 accident
just hours before,i was complaining to Ngia abt me being so afraid of getting crashed dwn @ site
and she sarcastically asked me whether i bought insurance for purpose of watching an F1 race
- @#$% @#$% -
and she reprimanded me for hving the thought tat i am afraid of my own death
coz Ngia said pple would be more worried that the driver die but i worried that i die
- pls lor,of coz la,duhz ngia -
- i am a human with a precious life after all mah -
i shivered for quite abit while the file was downloading
when i opened it
..... guess wat .....

a sudden gush of emotions
viewed "电波好朋友" blog
immersed myself in Shania Twain's rendition of 'From this Moment'
came to realize that i would wish to marry a guy whom can sing
someone who's willing to sing for me while i walk-in frm the grand doors
the start of "the day of our new journey"
- previously,it came across my mind to invite ting with qq/kj to sing @ my wedding -
- totally can picture them in xtreme 默契 with each other -
- i felt xtremely bliss to hv their presence on such occasions -
xoxoxo

i aint someone who cant lived without the existence of music
..... but .....
i am someone whom pays tons of attention to the lyrics of a song in comparison to its tune
a meaningful and well-written song,brings me into the world where i start to question myself
i deem this as a good exposure whereby i re-evaluate myself
i seek to change and be conscious of the real world
i actually do picture myself in the "story" of the song
i smile and ache with the flow of the melody

personally,i prefer Hady Mirza's rendition of 'From this Moment'
i felt connected to the soul of the song when he sings

oh gosh
the addiction did not went away
this day was meant to be godbro's farewell bbq party
after doing all my part for being the solo bbq(er) for the night
i was all so stinky and sweaty and had a tummyache
all because of drinking too much Season's Ice Lemon Tea to quench my thirst
my face pores are OPENED wide due to the heat and i had 'gas' facial
- wahahahahaha -
am so glad that it was held @ moi's residence
if not,i would be screaming out loud and looking frantically for tissues,clean toilets,etc
i was initially bored but my buttocks came by and saved my day
after munching down some delicacies and crapping our way thru
i introduced them a new game which i was in possession of
despite my poor explanation skills on the rules of the game
we still managed to kick start without further ado
??? tell me how can this game be boring ???
its been F*** long since i really make use of my brain
it has been dead for almost 5mths since my graduation
finally,thru this game,my brain came alive again
* hooray *
we played for hours after hours till the clock strikes 12
as they need to head to church the next day,we had to call it a day
- sobz sobz me,dying to continue playing -
i felt really INTELLIGENT that night
i won my cousin who is a doctor
i won my cousin who gets head-hunt for jobs
i won my sis who is a business woman
i am F***ing HELL GOOD

last friday was helluva fun a night
..... its been long .....
since i last managed to laugh,swear,shout
knowing that i am loved for whom i really am
knowing that they will laugh after and together with me
knowing that i can crap and kb to them abt my solemn life in recent wks/mths
knowing that i will always have their support right at the back where my shit comes from
knowing that despite all odds, we will never end it the ugly way
* i heart them to bits *

it took us almost mths to arrange this outing
it took us the effort of doing a facebook invitation
it took us tons of $$ to pay for smses
for this day
we had changed a total of 3 restaurants due to "unforeseen circumstances"
- lol lol lol -
still,its all worth the hassle/trouble
- no complains -

just like popping a buttock ecstasy
* sharing the bliss i gain in meeting them *

as we were speculating where should be head to after dinner
several ideas of a chill out drinking session of beers/wine/hard liqueur came in mind
no no no as many of us were driving
ktv was pretty late for everyone
with a cheeky mindset and seeking for pure fun
i suggested to head to a boardgame cafe
tu tu tu tu,kelvina booked it in split seconds
MINDS Cafe @ Boat Quay
trust me,BQ is as sleezy as it can b man
i am so glad minds is such a safe plc to "hide in"

we played several games which we were familiar with
Jurassic Rumble
Saboteur
Snorta
these games got us so hooked up in playing
!!! we REFUSED to end the day !!!
however,due to sat-snoaring-half-day work commitments
we had to end the "screaming" @ 2am.

seriously too many stories to tell
the process of the joy shall not be revealed
due to the lazy ass me

i had 2nd thots on whether or not in posting this night-out
- lol lol lol -
all because of the extremely greedy me
i made myself suffer for 1 whole-full night
- hiak hiak hiak -
i was pretty anxious to meet up with the girlies for a nice meal @ the tal-about MOF
MOF aka Ministry of Food
??? seriously speaking,i wonder wat's the link btw japanese food and it being titled MOF ???
whoever knows,enlighten me pls...kekeke
everyone of us have heard frm frens/relatives abt the yummylicious food served
we were so spoiled for choices that it took us almost 20mins to decide on wat to order
- oh lord -
everyone of us order our own mains and we munch and nibble on others
??? tat's wat we called as food tasting eh ???
- wahahaha -

the naughty me actually ate dinner at home prior to meeting my girlies
this is all bcoz of Elma,whom cooked my favourite pork cutlet
knowing that i am all-right full,i still orderd a full bento set
on top of that,i actually upsize my meal to unagi hot stone rice and dessert
wahahaha,tell me i did NOT eat alot,wahahaha

the retribution came the very next day
i had a serious bout of stomach indigestion
so bad that i had to cancel on J for our date on dinner & movie
i was in such bad shape after vomitting for 4times and had a fever as well
forcing myself to get well due to a very important buttocks gathering the next day
i popped 2 panadol extras and 3 bottles of chinese powder medi
and slept for 11.5hrs till the very next day
all these was done bcoz the chinese sinseh that i always frequent is nt working thus no choice
*** alert to my UNI MATES Hiao,Honey & Melliot ***
!!!!! who says SELF-MEDICATION of MANY DOSAGE doesnt help !!!!!
- wahahaha,my unimates use to nag me when i pop like 6plus pills of all kinds when i am ill in uk -
seeeeeee.....i proved u guys WRONG
wahahahahaha

all i can say
despite suffering badly for the night
i had great laughs and tons of new gossips on hand to gloat on to cheer the solemn me up

cutting it short due to shortage of time
* in hurry to watch my dramas,lol *
- 29th August 08 -
prior to moi and jess departure to HK
we gathered with Ngia & Rach over a meal @ Gerald's workplace
*** Indochine Madame Butterfly @ Forbidden City ***
Rach had made a reservation and gotten Gerald to set a menu for the night's dinner
!!! we were atrociously late all bcoz of jess !!!
dinner was suppose to be @ 7.30pm
ngia & rach went to pick jess up from work bt to no avail
they waited for her till 8.30pm and only managed to arrive @ Clarke Quay @ 8.45pm
after settling down and being in comfort,our meal started @ ard 9pm
liew ehz,seriously we wanted to bash jess up but seeing her working so hard for her future
- ok,forgive her,lol -

we were greeted by terracotta soldiers that stood tall along the pathway to the restaurant
i seriously adore the architecture and the concept of forbidden city
i have a keen interest in terracotta army since the day i saw an exhibition in London
woohoo,nice nice

am really proud of Gerald whom we gain joys from his service
despite we were his friends,he managed to keep his professionalism on a high note
being the usual cracking jiaoness of a hospi guy,he made us laugh till tummyache
it's always ever nice to hv great service encounters
i had one just one this day

the night started late for us but we ended it pretty "early"
we just couldn't get enough of each other's nonsense and chatted our way till 2.30am
we weren't exactly zonk out,but more of the stress gain due to an unpacked luggage for hk
- lol lol lol -
we talked in the dark as the restaurant was closed at 12mn
could hv been a very romantic ambience if not for the heart-thumping disco
- damnz -
Jason called from Maldives and them being there with me
everyone managed to hv a chat with the lonesome boy across the globe
hope tat we've brought some warmth into ur heart

initially,9 days seems a long long time for being in Hong Kong
but i was sosososo wrong
time flies when one is enjoying and savouring every moment and time spent
i thought i could have time to make some small trips to those small islands
however,i was proven wrong because i did not step foot in any of those islands
it's alright,i will one day and i shall make it happen one day
shopping,eating,gathering
it was all the above that occupied my time
fully utilizing every nite to meet-up with frens and chilling out with dearie's family
they were great host,hving all freedom to roam around as and when i like
the comfort of hving a bed all to myself
the flooring where my barangs were scattered
most importantly,i had home-cooked meal prior to leaving for Sin

"they" always say: early birds gets the worms
this whole trip made us such lazy old crows
we woke up at ard 12pm everyday
taking our sweet time in dolling up and getting all set to leave home
??? how relax can we not be ???
- wahahahaha -
today,we had planned to wake up @ 9am and set off for macau
tsk tsk tsk,we failed to do so and only woke up @ 11am and reached Macau @ 2pm
i guess we are indeed still VERY young,thus the amount of slp stays @ 8hrs/day
- lol lol lol -

this place looks exactly like it is a year ago
the tourist in me is not present as i had shots taken just last yr
dearie was more enthu bcoz her last visit was more than a decade ago
- oh gosh -
frankly speaking,i dislike macau
the air is way more polluted than hk
and the whole place is so humid,i felt am being trapped in an oven
still,we did enjoy strolling our way along 新马路

just like wat dearie said
"am really glad that i have you with me for this trip"
"i dont think any of my friends will be interested to take a trip to visit hotels after hotels"
i totally agree with wat she had said
i had the same sentiments as well
i was just telling her a few days ago in hk that whenever i am on the bus
the purpose of me looking out of the window is to spot the rising tall buildings of hotels
whenever we spot a hotel in the surroundings,we will inform each other to take a look
i seriously miss being part of this industry,something so dear to my heart
it aches,when i barely can lay my hands on it
- sobz -
dearie was enthu to visit The Venetian
thus we made our trip there,not knowing it's a distance from where all the other hotels were located
somewhat expecting it to be,it was located on the other side of the island,secluded as it can be
all in the name of being luxury
hving been to Italy before,the interior decor did not caught me by any surprise
however,i was a little disappointed that it's pretty artificial
still,am sure whoever steps into The Venetian would be wowed by the initial Grand image
it's seriously HUMONGOUS and we actually needed a map to guide us to the convention centre
- lol lol lol -

the MAIN purpose of my trip to Macau is definitely one that's all worth
to visit and stay for a night @ the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel Macau,Cotai Strip
it opened just a week prior to moi's arrival
Ms Lai was giving assistance to FS Macau for 2weeks thus I am there to visit her
once again,my wish of meeting up with friends on a foreign land came true
FS never fails to wow me jaw-drop
the shopping mall that was linked to the hotel is so luxury that i felt abit intimidated
- lol lol lol -
sadly,didnt managed to tour other parts of the hotel due to tight security
deep within,i am glad for that because its The Four Seasons after all
*thumbs up,that's what i love*

when the clock strikes 7pm
i met up with ms lai & penny
all ready to set off for our trio dinner date
we headed to MGM Grand and dine @ a noodle restaurant
of coz,ending the night with a walk by the "bund"
macau is exactly like Las Vegas
a super night-life country where i can see i will not survive in
- lol lol lol -

nothing beats serving guests
all from the bottom of my heart
delivered thru the warmth of my hands

this was a day filled with mixed emotions
it was a joyous day to be able to meet up with YY
but on the other hand,it was a sobbing day coz i had to say 88 to honey
honey accompanied me for a little bit more shopping prior to meeting YY
i bought socks frm 2 of my fav japan casual brands uniqlo and muji
- woohoo,loves loves -
due to the scorching weather and the increasing heatiness within one's body
we skipped on the idea of korean bbq and steamboat
trotting our way to Mongkok for a simple meal in HK's "food court"

we ended our day in a super hell duper noisy cafe
teenagers screaming at the top of their voices while playing games
- it brought back fond memories for i was once those irritating peeps,lol lol -
honey played onto tarot reading and the forecast was to one's wish
i hope it's for real and hoping good news comes by her soon
to my beloved honey
may u shine in ur future endeavour
crossing all hurdles and roughing it through with all ur might

..... birthday .....
i seem to have scrap off the idea of bday bashes or big group gathering
as one aged,we tend to treat this day as a normal day
chilling out with frens
spending those moments reminiscing and laughing our way thru the nite

i wonder how will i celeb my bday when i reach the age of 30plus 40plus 50plus etc
here today,we helped celeb dearie's mum bday
it was a planned dinner @ Le Blanc
its my very 1st time being expose to the wonderful concept of Private Kitchen
you feel like you’re dining in someone’s continental living room circa 1890
it dishes up sturdy French food within decadent,authentic and lavishly furnished surroundings

the interior most closely resembles grandma’s house
the homely-kitchen to your left
a huge flower display in front of you and books,vases and nick-nacks all around
it has lovely mellow wood walls ard
in the corner was a clapped-out piano and mismatched chairs for every diner
every table is cluttered with fine crockery,vintage tablecloths and most importantly,pots of pencils
dim sum style,you tick what you want from each section of the menu

the minimum charge is HKD$280
pick and choose between starters,soups,seafood,mains and dessert
it’s classic continental cooking unfussily served and tasting clean and fresh
it’s not complicated or highly inventive food
but it’s good solid cooking that will make you feel like your eating in someone’s home

though this being Hong Kong
everything feels a little on the cramped side
a trip to the bathroom involved much pushing in of chairs and sucking in of the belly
which was proving harder to do as the meal continued into the night for the food was good
( some tasted bland thou,lol )
- lol lol lol lol -

though service is somewhat erratic
but the staffs were friendly and it is surely only a matter of a little more training
Le Blanc’s owners have a great eye for décor and an obvious love of food
what can i say
despite its shortfalls,i loved the Le Blanc experience
however,i realise with a slight shock that this has become a mass produced commodity

its a day filled with guilt
but i guess in life
there are just many a time u hv no chance in choosing the way u want it to be
hv promised dearie's granny tat i will be over for a homely cooked meal
bt all were trashed after a phone call
some family friends pushed forward a dinner plan that was scheduled the day after
initially i was pissed bt it was a time when i hv no right to say no
all in the name of socializing pressures
- lol lol lol -
..... but i've learnt .....
no matter how gourmet the food can be,it will never beat the warmth frm family meals

despite tat,i had to go for the family friends meal
:( *sorry granny* :(
met stephan and we both were picked up by Aunty Sophie in her luxury Merc S Class
Aunty Anita and Aunty Sandy were already seated comfortably inside
zoom zoom off we head to some seafood paradise
prior to meeting them,i gave Aunty Anita a call and asked if i need to dress appropriately
she said its alright coz we are eating seafood,just casual will do
bt to my shocking horror,Aunty Sophie droved us to a restaurant which looked hell posh
adding on,we were sitting inside a private room which were meant for 12pax
guess what,due to the horrendous sorching weather of HK
as i was out shopping with dearie
i was dressed in tee,berms and slippers
- freaking 丢脸 can -
- felt hell paiseh when i reached the restaurant,omg -
and did i mentioned,the 3 aunties that brought me and stephan out
are really wealthy women whom own enormous houses in HK and drives posh cars
singapore tai tai move one side lor,u never know how pauper u can be
only after meeting them
- wahahahaha -

after settling down in the restaurant for awhile
we waited abit for the fresh seafood area to be cleared of pple
thereafter,we walked to the open area and selected the catch for the night's meal
ooh hell i love to watch them alive
b4 they are placed silently on the lazy susan for my consumption
i know i am psychotic
- wahahahaha -

Aunty Sophie's really good with selecting the right method to cook those seafood
all the cooking method she had requested for,were new to me

dearie brought me to several hot joints tat she fancies
seriously,i swear by this place called Lucky Dessert
i salivate at their mango sago with pomelo and its the best i've eaten in life
arghz,i am missing on it soooooooo much
-damnz damnz box box -
i hv always been a fan of wanton mee but the one we went to was nt tat great
the noodle was Q enough bt it was pretty bland on taste
but the soup is super duper tasty
and huge thumbs up to the barley drink which cost only freaking SIN50cents
i was soooo desperate to gulp down the barley beans bt to no avail
it was pretty "stucked" to the glass
-sobz sozb sobz -

on this day
after 4trips to several Playlord outlets
- Playlord sells really freaking hell nice working suits/shirts/dresses etc -
dearie finally managed to buy 2 jackets w/o bottoms
it was pretty sold out in sizes in other outlets due to its sale
... bt guess wat ...
the suits are freaking ex,after 70% discount,it cost 100plus SIN per jacket
can u imagine how much it cost when its nt on sale
nb can
but seriously,if i am a working OL,i will BUY ALL lor
beri beri nice
i am happy for dearie bcoz she hasnt shop for ages in sin
and her job requires her to don on beautiful clothings

frankly speaking
am procrastinating on doing any post on my HK trip
but i would still like to share those joys i had throughout the 9days
it brought back many memories
that i had experienced in several of my HK journeys with my darlings
- ting,chris,dearie -
all of whom made all my hk trips ever so wonderful
- hugs tight tight -

this trip was the most unforgettable
because upon graduation
we still managed to keep to the promise that we all once had
- meeting each other in the near future in wherever possible -
* miss my hiao so much bcoz she's suppose to be there too,sobz *
my darling baby tracy-san and 超级白 qiujiansi were in HK tooz
being together while schooling in UK wasnt enough for them
they even had to work together in the same location aka Shenzhen
thou working in diff company,they stayed together in a rented apt
!!! omg,ta ma de sweeeeeeet can !!!
for sure,never forgetting my beloved honey fife
whom hosted us and brought us for some luxury shopping
tracy baby bought TONS of cosmetic/facial pdt frm Laniege
while qiujiansi bought a Hermes card holder
i only went home with a top,but a lovely demure one frm local brand izzue

we met for dim sum at 3pm thou i ate dim sum at 1pm with dearie's family
nb full can,lol lol
tracy baby bought her 2nd iphone,3g of coz
omg...thou it really looks hell gorgeous
but omg...i will never get another iphone even if i'm killed
crap,unless they improve on the specs,if not sorry man,88 iphone urge

hk is all just abt eating and shopping manz
the country seriously lived up to its promotional campaign
we had an early dinner @ 6pm,just 3hrs after our dim sum
kaoz kaoz kaoz
but i would never say NO to japanese cuisine
- gobble gobble gobble -

this seriously brought back tons of memories
it was WAY SO LONG tat i seriously went crazy abt neo prints
i think that was like a decade ago while i was in sec sch
- OMMFG,i am soooo old can -
it was helluva fun for us to keep posing
trying all ways and means to change our "couture" posture

见面的时间虽然短
但快乐的时光是充足的
有缘在相见

cant believe my "socket power" is taking effect in HK
i seldom get to encounter any nice gestures from stranger guys in Sin
but i had my fair share of it in HK

a "dodo" @ haagen daz offered me a tweeny spoon of mango passion fruit ice-cream
sooooooo sweet of him
just moments before his offerings,dearie and i were just saying he's very "dodo"
too bad dearie wasn't offered anything
- lol lol lol -
omg

we actually mesmerized on the same guy while queuing for our dessert

the fact that while queuing in line for buses @ the roadside bus stop
one has to bear with the freaking filthy water droplets that's dripping on one's head
most disgustingly its from the air conditioning exhaust of hk's "HDB"

dearie was trying to call upon me and notify that a 明星 just walked past us
wah kaoz...i actually missed it can
soooo meeee for doing so coz i dun lookout for humans while walking
thus,being "pissed" tat i missed tat opportunity
i told dearie tat,in future,shout to me "twinkle twinkle" and i will know
bcoz by shouting star or 明星 is obvious
thus i thought of twinkle twinkle little STAR
