this post is super back-dated
cutting it short due to shortage of time
* in hurry to watch my dramas,lol *
- 29th August 08 -
prior to moi and jess departure to HK
we gathered with Ngia & Rach over a meal @ Gerald's workplace
*** Indochine Madame Butterfly @ Forbidden City ***
Rach had made a reservation and gotten Gerald to set a menu for the night's dinner
!!! we were atrociously late all bcoz of jess !!!
dinner was suppose to be @ 7.30pm
ngia & rach went to pick jess up from work bt to no avail
they waited for her till 8.30pm and only managed to arrive @ Clarke Quay @ 8.45pm
after settling down and being in comfort,our meal started @ ard 9pm
liew ehz,seriously we wanted to bash jess up but seeing her working so hard for her future
- ok,forgive her,lol -

we were greeted by terracotta soldiers that stood tall along the pathway to the restaurant
i seriously adore the architecture and the concept of forbidden city
i have a keen interest in terracotta army since the day i saw an exhibition in London
woohoo,nice nice

am really proud of Gerald whom we gain joys from his service
despite we were his friends,he managed to keep his professionalism on a high note
being the usual cracking jiaoness of a hospi guy,he made us laugh till tummyache
it's always ever nice to hv great service encounters
i had one just one this day

the night started late for us but we ended it pretty "early"
we just couldn't get enough of each other's nonsense and chatted our way till 2.30am
we weren't exactly zonk out,but more of the stress gain due to an unpacked luggage for hk
- lol lol lol -
we talked in the dark as the restaurant was closed at 12mn
could hv been a very romantic ambience if not for the heart-thumping disco

Jason called from Maldives and them being there with me
everyone managed to hv a chat with the lonesome boy across the globe
hope tat we've brought some warmth into ur heart
