the theme of NDP 2008
*** Celebrating the Singapore Spirit ***
once again,i was fortunate enough to immerse into the strong values/culture environment
a day we all celebrate on the independence of Singapore,a place so dearly to us all
counting year after year,i've been to see the NDP preview/rehearsal/live for a total of 4yrs
year after year,i wasn't disappointed at all
year after year,i was further inspired and proud of being a Singaporean
a small little red/white dot that emerge as a promising spot
- i seriously heart Singapore -
being a service enthusiast
i've come to appreciate the developments and growth we are going thru
~ there was a time when people said that Singapore won't make it ~
~ but we DID ~

we arrived at around 3.30pm
hoping for good seats
a pity no corner seats for the placement of a tripod,sobz
but our seats were terrific,almost right smack in the centre
we sat under the scorching and torturous sun
it was only after 3.5hours later that the sun started to set
our butts were in such aching pain that fidgeting became a norm for us both

moi's favourite gadget for the night
yg was commenting that if Chinnyman was there with us
it's an excellent tool to smack him with
the thoughts of two childish pisces
- lol lol lol -

ah chek yg hving a difficult time blowing up the "waving glove"

the hosts appeared in colourful body suits which seriously resemblance Power Rangers
oh my,seriously reminiscing the past

thereafter,changing into something much more sporty
jackets under the temperature of 34degrees is madness

this year was really much different from previous years
there were inclusions of cheer leading,line dancing and wheelchair dancing performances
i really enjoyed it to bits

my all-time favourite segment of all
since NDP shifted to Marina Bay
there's the inclusion of bay performances

this year's performance was splendid
the stunts involved were magnificent and it lasted for quite awhile

any kind of Tender Loving Care
to anyone and everyone and most importantly
to the NATION

i've been waiting all night just for this moment
i am just so attached to fireworks display
i will actually idiotically smile to myself whenever i see those colour-lighted sprinkles
it always reminds me that despite all odds,there will always be hopes when one persevere

the whole parade came to a typical end
am someone who loves colours because it symbolizes Colours of Life
we must never live a dull life and be negative
only self-motivation and being positive,we will move on towards somewhere

the rush of the kiasu Singaporeans actions
something i am proud of being

SEARCH for new horizons
SENSE new perspectives
SPRING for new possibilities
SHINE for Singapore
!!! i am a proud SINGAPOREAN for sure !!!
