Hong Kong1st June - 7th JuneOn board Cathay Pacific Companion in luxury crime : Donkey ChrisBoth Donkeys met at 6.30am @ Airport to check inHad breakfast @ Delifrance which caused us to almost missed our flightFreaking lousy service,slow,wrong orders,etcWe gave up breakfast and ran like mad dogs thru the custom and all the way to the gateThe gate was at the extreme end of the airport, 15mins awaySweat and pant like there's no tomorrow, such an embaressment as people were laughingWe were the last 3 to check in,sighWhat a great way to start the whole journey*winks winks*
Reached HK at 11.30am and travelled our way to the hotelFour Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong
It was maginificent, the view, the luxury,etc We were exhausted by the mere run and decided to laze in the roomBathe,relax,tv,plan our day
Met Chris ex-colleague from Regent KL and currently a Club Exec Manager @ 4seasonsNice chap, brought us around the whole hotel for a tour It's really HUGE, comparing to FS SingaporeWe visited the residential area as wellAfter which,went for a short walk along the streets near the hotel I chanced upon my beloved Krispy KremeBut the outlook of the doughnuts just turn me offDry,melted glaze,small quantityDisappointed, despite it having many asian-inspired flavours
Settled dwn in a typical HK 'cafe' and have Wanton NoodlesWe both were just famished that we just randomly entered a 'cafe'Apparently, my HK mates told me that it was really good, and its a chain*lucky we*
When night fallsIt was time to head to The PeakA famous tourist destination, to have a board view of the whole of HKThe queue for the tram ride was ridiculously longWe perservered still,mingling within those China counterpartsThe tram ride was indeed scary as its really steepI felt very unsecured on the tram, afraid that it might just slide backwards*phew*The view is indeed breath-taking, I felt a sense of relief and freedom
We took an open-top bus back to the hotelFamished again,we order room service to satisfy the growling stomachs*hehehehehe*Evilish*
