Some days its better to set my expectation low

Today is one of those day

Sometimes when I read what someone else has written
Words dive from my expectations and fall into a pit
The uplifting joys that I had secretly anticipate
Wither as a fragrant rose is cruelly decapitated

It is generally known that one who expects much

Will be often disappointed

Yet disappointment seldom cures us of expectation

Or has any other effect than that of producing a moral sentence or peevish exclamation

It is a bitter disappointment when I have sown benefits, to reap injuries

??? Must I be disappointed with the lesser things of life

Before I can comprehend the full value of the greater ???

I've learnt a vital lesson today

*** Disappointment is often the salt of life ***

..... but is .....

??? Disappointment the nurse of wisdom ???

I've fallen

In the vast open sea

Just like the above

My wings were detached

It's the 1st time

The tears aint flowing down my cheeks

It streamed within those veins of mine

Flowing con-currently with the blood that circulates within my body

It's salty indeed
