***wHaT a dAy wELL sPeNt***

Been 'struggling' for the last 2 weeks

Today,

It feels like I have thrown behind me a ton of stones

In actual fact, I did not work that hard

{hehehe}

I could have put in much more effort

{???Am I disappointed in my ownself???}

However, I believe in

'You reap what you sow'

{Let's see in time to come}

Sarah-san & I were sooooo bored to death

In-prompt-tu, we both decided to make a trip to Portsmouth Harbour

Shopping Heaven in UK, for students

{hohoho}

The journey this weekend was a long and torturous one, for sure

We departed campus @ 10am

Reached Portsmouth @ 1pm

!!!This freaking ride on the train-bus-train took us a whole 3 hrs!!!

The usual ride is only a mere 1hour

UK is the most atrocious in terms of train-tracks re-construction

Everyweekend, there's bound to be such on-goings

Thus, we had to board on the 'slow' train service

Changing twice, at Haslemere & Pettersfield, before reaching Portsmouth

Firstly, took train to haslemere and changed bus to pettersfield

Reached Pettersfield, and to our HORROR

!!!The next train to Portsmouth is in AN HOUR's time!!!

{Gosh}

It was lunch time and we took a stroll down the city

Next HORROR,

NO cafe, restaurant is open OR no-seats provided

{only bakeries available,how pathetic}

Thus, pop by Famous Fish n Chip stall

SEAFARE

Being thick skin, we decided to make use of the 'waiting-seats' as our 'eating-seats'

{hohoho, too desperate as it was cold outside}

Time passed relatively fast there we go onboard the train

Reached Portsmouth Harbour

{Hooray}

Soooo excited about shopping and having lots in mind to buy

Disappointment sets in

We kind of headed out of every of our favourite shops empty handed

{sobz}

End the trip with only average of 2 clothings

{sianz}

This teaches us, never look too forward to getting it

When you dont, its really depressing

With time to spare,

Took the train 'backwards' to Portsmouth and Southsea

It was raining while we were on train but it stopped just before we alight

{Thank Goodness}

Shopped around abit, nothing fanciful

!!!Next moment, it rained heavily!!!

Partly drenched, we took shelter at several places and even attempt to buy an umbrella

While sarah-san is queuing halfway to pay, I phone her and told her the rain had stop

Thus, we left the place, empty-handed again

As sarah-san had dinner plans, we headed to the train station for home

Nothing seems to go smooth the whole day

Reached the train station, tried our luck to see if there's a 'fast' train back home

To our dismal, NONE

Thus after checking the departure screen, we ran as quick as possible to catch the train

Sadly,we were just less than 2 seconds

Missed the train

{it was really just split second, the train door closed right infront of our eyes}

!!!!!To our horror!!!!!

!!!The next train is in AN HOUR'S time again!!!

{Damn pissed}

Knowing that she will not be able to attend her dinner plan

We make another trip to Portsmouth Harbour AGAIN

Settled @ Nandos, yummylicious

While chatting our way through dinner, decided to do a last round of shopping

Bad luck once again, it was pure darkness when we took the escalator down

!!!All shops were CLOSED!!!

With disappointment,
We headed home and spend 2hours 30mins on train and bus

Reached Guildford @ 9.30pm

Spent a whooping 11hours 30mins out of campus today, with atrocious hours on rides

Nonetheless, it was really fun as we had lots of laughter

This pot of plant reminds me alot on 'Bottle Tree Village' in Singapore

{Just a display decor in Nandos}

It's called 'Bottle Tree' because the tree is in the shape of a bottle

{duhz}

Imported all the way from Australia

A restaurant place that's situated just by the coast

All the way deep into the jungle

A car is defintely needed to reached there

Ferried several friends there to indulge on the delicacies

{Am missing it badly}
